Adding 35mm Film To Your New York Wedding Photos

35mm Film Wedding Photography

In 2022, I added on point and shoot film photography to my a la carte options! I am so excited to share my love for film photography with my clients. If you are interested in film photography for your engagement photos too, I encourage you to check out this blog I wrote.

Film is a stunning way to capture nostalgic, fun images of your wedding day. They are great for sharing on social media or printing in small formats. Point and shoot is the type of film camera I use. There's slr film cameras, and point and shoot film cameras. Point and shoot is automatic, there's no need to change exposure settings, it gives more of a vintage nostalgic vibe. It's the type of camera little our parents would bring around to take pictures on vacations when we were kids! Your film photos get developed & scanned, uploaded to your regular gallery, where you have the option to purchase prints.

Film photos are delivered digitally as part of your online gallery, at which point prints can be ordered. You receive a mini gallery of approximately 85 images. I capture candids throughout the day, but all key moments (first kiss, ring exchange, etc) are focused on digitally. You will receive a mix of point and shoot film as well as polaroids. Polaroids will be scanned in to your gallery, then mailed to you at a later date.

Film photos are just so incredibly fun! The colors are stunning, and there is just something so special about capturing a moment on film that can't be recreated. With digital you have never ending opportunities to capture a beautiful moment, with film you only have a certain amount of photos that can be taken. It makes that one moment so much more special.
