As a NYC elopement photographer, I always love the meeting new couples. Kelly and EJ were the most down to earth, welcoming, and kind humans I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. and it was a true pleasure to photograph their New York elopement. They an incredibly stunning ceremony with the background of the NYC skyline.

I had the opportunity to capture their NYC elopement in Breezy Point, Queens, and it was an incredibly gorgeous evening.

Immediately after walking into their home, I felt like apart of the family. We laughed together, enjoyed the night, they even asked me to stay and eat dinner with them! That spoke so much to who they are. Generous and kind, better together. They didn’t worry about all of the details. They didn’t lose their minds over every piece of decor, the cake, the food being perfect. Kelly even bought a new, more casual dress when their original plans changed. They didn’t care about anything but becoming one. It was refreshing to watch this couple focus on what really mattered: their marriage.

I think even the photos prove who these two are as a couple.

Breezy Point is a unique and stunning destination located in Queens, New York. This peninsula overlooks the tranquil waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Jamaica Bay, making it an ideal location for an elopement or intimate wedding.

Originally, Breezy Point was owned by the Dutch settlers during the 1600s, who named the area “Breech” or “Breuckelen”. It wasn’t until 1925 that the area began to resemble what we now recognize as Breezy Point. During this time, the United States Army developed it into a firing range. After World War II ended, the area became known as the “Coney Island of Queens” and was primarily a family-friendly beach destination.

Today, Breezy Point offers some of the most breathtaking views in New York City. The scenery is magical, offering couples a private escape to say their vows with only their closest friends and family in attendance.

From its rich history to its gorgeous views, Breezy Point is an unforgettable destination for your elopement.
