Engagement Shoot at a Dive Bar in Chelsea
New York City is renowned for its vibrant nightlife, and the trendy bars scattered throughout the city are the perfect setting for a fun engagement shoot. As a NYC wedding and engagement photographer, I always love to explore new locations for a couple’s engagement shoot! For Layla & JP’s engagement shoot, we started off on the subway to Chelsea, to take some photos outside of the iconic Hotel Chelsea, before heading to Trailer Park Lounge! I always love to take couples to the subway for some classic NYC photos.
Layla & JP actually met at a dive bar, so it only made sense for their engagement shoot to be at one!
I am so looking forward to shooting this incredible couple’s wedding reception this September. I can’t wait to see the epic details that they plan to celebrate their love.

Trailer Park Lounge welcomed us and was so excited to see that the couple chose to celebrate with them!
(Also…the food at Trailer Park Lounge is SO GOOD.)
Reservations aren’t required at Trailer Park Lounge, but I do recommend coming when they open, at 4pm! This will allow you to be seated immediately as well as have more seating options. The best day of the week would also be a Monday or Tuesday.

I recommend calling ahead to see if the bar offers reservations! This way you can be guaranteed a table. It is usually best to plan to arrive when they open.
