The Halyard in Greenport, New York

The Halyard is a stunning modern meets vintage restaurant and wedding venue in Greenport, New York. Right along the water, it allows for perfect sunset photos on a clear day. It’s also perfect for a winter wedding, as the piano bar is a stunning place for portraits and most of your photos can be done inside! This is definitely my #1 Long Island wedding venue. The reception space is bright and naturally lit, allowing for stunning photos at the beginning of your reception, and the white walls make it easy for your photographer to capture beautiful flash photos when the sun goes down.

Vineyards at Aquebogue in Riverhead, New York

The Vineyards at Aquebogue is another stunning venue with an insanely gorgeous reception space. Surrounded by the vines covering the ceiling, and a beautiful candle lit dinner, it gives an ambiance I haven’t experienced elsewhere. Outside, there is a beautiful willow tree for portaits. When the sun sets, the venue can whisk you away into the field on a golf cart for unreal sunset photos! My favorite thing about this venue is the plethora of string lights - that allow me to take epic shutter drag reception photos! (The flash photos where the light drags!)

I have shot at this venue many times and I am always dying to go back. If you are looking for a photographer who knows their way around The Vineyards and shoots in a documentary style, you can contact me here!

Cowfish in Hamptons Bays, New York

Cowfish in Hampton is perfect for a intimate or even larger wedding. The wedding picture was less than 50 people, but they have an outdoor space which can accommodate much more!

A few things I loved about Cowfish in Hamptons Bays: For one, the place is just stunning. The vintage look of the red curtains as well as wood paneling, wood flooring and the nautical meets art deco decor and paintings made for a beautiful backdrop, especially for flash photos. For a daytime wedding in warmer weather, there is a outdoor space for photos as you are on the water!

Old Field Club in Setauket, New York

Old Field Club in Setauket is another beautiful & modern with a touch of vintage venue! I love the style of the building outdoors - it feels like a historical home, rather than a Long Island ballroom venue. There is a beautiful outdoor space for photos along the water, especially gorgeous with fall foliage. The ceremony space is also very stunning, with the trees and water as your backdrop. Pictured here is Old Field Club at two different times of year: Fall and Summer!

The darker feel to the inside of Old Field Club in Setauket feels so different than a typical ballroom wedding, and I love the way the photos come out.

The Bates House
