Sagaponack Farm Distillery Wedding Reception - Hamptons Wedding Photographer
Sagaponack Farm Distillery Wedding Reception in the Hamptons
Ashton & Harry eloped in a NYC Town Hall ceremony on 10.26.23, and I had the pleasure of capturing not only their elopement, but their Sagaponack Farm Distillery Hamptons wedding reception two days later! Both days were incredibly beautiful. I loved the focus Ashton & Harry had on enjoying their time, and having me document their day organically, rather then planning their day around photos. Sagaponack Farm Distillery is a gorgeous venue in the Hamptons of Long Island. It truly is one of a kind, and a stunning place for an outdoor reception. Ashtonβs makeup was done by Angela Zavala, one of my top recommended vendors! Her gown by Watters, βthe Claraβ truly flattered her in such a stunning way. She chose a stunning pair of Dolce Vita shoes & Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 perfume, and Harry chose a Rolex watch to compliment his tux.
As a Hamptons wedding photographer, I always enjoy seeing new and exciting venues, and I really enjoyed working at Sagaponack Farm Distillery for the first time!
Sagaponack, a charming town nestled on the eastern end of Long Island, is a true gem that has captivated visitors and locals alike with its breathtaking views. Surrounded by rolling hills, lush vineyards, and pristine sandy beaches, Sagaponack offers a spectacular blend of natural beauty and luxury. From the picturesque coastal vistas to the lush green landscapes, every view in Sagaponack unveils a visual feast for the eyes. The stunning sunsets, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, set a magical ambiance that leaves observers in awe. Visitors have the privilege of immersing themselves in the serene beauty while savoring the tranquility that emanates from this idyllic haven. Whether it's strolling along the shoreline or enjoying a glass of fine wine at one of the local wineries, the views in Sagaponack are sure to leave an indelible mark on the hearts of all who visit.
The Hamptons in New York has long been renowned as a captivating destination, enticing visitors with its stunning landscapes and beaches. But beyond its allure as a summer retreat, the Hamptons has emerged as a highly sought-after wedding destination. Couples from around the world are captivated by the Hamptons' distinctive charm, combining luxury with a laid-back coastal vibe. The region offers a plethora of elegant venues, from mansions with stunning gardens, to waterfront estates. With its rich history, exclusive atmosphere, and breathtaking views, the Hamptons has firmly positioned itself as a haven for those seeking a truly unforgettable wedding experience.
Ashton & Harry opted to do a simple first look in the backyard of the airbnb Ashton and her girls stayed at. I really enjoyed doing the first look in this way, as it really felt more organic and less curated. It also took the pressure off of the couple to not have to follow a rigid timeline.
The couple and their family did a quick toast before heading to the venue. I highly recommend opting out of the speeches in front of all your guests in favor of a smaller toast with your immediate family! Itβs so meaningful and can really take the pressure off of a couple who doesnβt love all eyes on them!
Once we made it to the venue, we took some gorgeous family & bridal party photos, and the light was just right for these stunning portraits!
A trend Iβve been seriously loving is the no bouquets trend. Donβt get me wrong, I love a gorgeous floral bouquet - but thereβs something to special about the beauty of the bride on her own.
Ashton picked the most gorgeous and timeless color pallet for her bridesmaids! It complimented the black tie apparel of the groomsmen so well - and was truly stunning against the background of greenery at Sagaponack Farm Distillery.
We also did a quick portraits session of Ashton & Harry, which was briefly photobombed by some of their guests passing by!
One thing I loved about Harry & Ashtonβs elopement two days prior, is that it took a lot of pressure of off them to get a ton of photos! We took 5 minutes to get these GORGEOUS photos.
As your New York documentary style wedding photographer, I am always looking to shoot iconic dance floor moments in a βpaparazziβ inspired way!
Dinner was under the gorgeous twinkling lights, and we captured some photos of the couple and their guests interacting and enjoying each otherβs company. Instead of a traditional speech, Ashton & Harry said their vows in front of all of their guests, since they had eloped days prior!
