I absolutely loved shooting this sunrise engagement shoot in Port Jefferson Village, New York. We woke up bright and early for this session so that we could avoid the crowds, and it turned out beautifully.

The waterfront of Port Jefferson creates a truly romantic atmosphere for couples, offering an array of opportunities for gorgeous documentary style engagement or even wedding photography.
We started off by the water for some stunning sunrise photos. The lighting was just perfect. Then we headed down to East Main Street for some photos on the quaint and old timey streets. There are so many gorgeous historic buildings in Port Jefferson Village.
Lastly, we headed to Local’s Cafe for some coffee and tea. I always love to incorporate some kind of activity in my engagement sessions. I feel it makes the experience more personal.
