The Vanderbilt Museum - Located in Centerport, New York

The Vanderbilt Museum is a hidden gem located in the charming town of Centerport, New York. This historic mansion turned museum is the perfect setting for a luxurious wedding experience. As New York wedding photographers, I had the pleasure of capturing the grandeur of the Vanderbilt Museum, and I can confidently say that it is a breathtaking venue. The mansion, known as Eagle's Nest, was once the home of William K. Vanderbilt II, a prominent businessman and avid collector of art and artifacts. The museum's grounds are perfectly complemented by Northport Bay, with its shimmering blue waters and gently rolling waves.

One of the highlights of the Vanderbilt Museum is its stunning architecture. The mansion boasts a blend of architectural styles, including Spanish Revival, Mediterranean, and Tudor, which makes for a unique and visually captivating backdrop for your wedding portraits. From the intricate detailing on the exterior to the beautifully adorned interior rooms, every corner of the Vanderbilt Museum is a photographer's dream!

Michelle & Zack

“My spouse and I have been together for almost 10 years. We have been wanting to officially marry, but due to Covid and starting our family, we have put our plans on hold until recently. We excitedly officially married in secret May of 2023. We are unable to have a large wedding ceremony at the moment, but we would like to have bridal portraits/photography done instead for memorabilia and to share with our family that we are now officially married. The last few years have been incredibly challenging, and this is something we are very much looking forward to.”
